I'm excited to be sharing this new volume of work created over the last 2 years...'Flowers from the Fire'. The name is inspired by finding the hidden gifts from our recent trials and as in a Vedic ceremony (puja) offering those flowers back to the divine. There is even a special flower here in Northern California, the Fire Poppy, rare golden flowers that rise from the ashes of recent fires (of which we have had many nearby). The seeds lie dormant for years until the heat signals the time to sprout. Much of the shrubbery has been burned away so these new flowers can receive more nutrients and light. May we all gleam some new hope and light amidst the flames. May hope burn bright in our hearts. Om Shanti, shanti, shanti
